I found The Story Bridal Couture when I was looking for bridal shops in Las Vegas that carried Essence of Austrailia because I loved their gowns. Setting up an appointment was easy and it was the perfect set up for me, my mom, and my mother-in-law.nnAbbey was my stylist during my appointment, and I have to say she is a mind reader because I thought I wanted something more romantic…and it turns out I never quite liked any of the lace dresses on me. But it only took Abbey two dresses before she figured out what worked and it only got better. We thought we had landed on one, but as I was heading back to the dressing room there was one more she had pulled and I asked if I could try it on. It was more simple than I originally anticipated but it still had the dramatic touch I wanted. Once I had it on, I didn’t want to take it off (honestly I felt the same day on my wedding day too)!nnTory and Abbey were also great with helping me come up with styling ideas for the dress and never made me feel rushed. My moms and I had a great time that day! And the try-on appointment when my dress came in was just as smooth and stress free. I highly recommend this shop!
I went to 6 different stores across 3 different states (in an effort to include all of my family in the dress shopping experience) and this is the ONLY store that gave me a genuine and comfortable experience! Every single other store I went to felt pushy and disingenuous in some way or another. A lot of them were in a rush to make me make a decision, or would explain away any objections to a dress I didn’t like, or would insist that they have to be in the dressing room with me when I’m down to only my undies!nnAt The Story Bridal, every single dress Amanda chose was beautiful and perfect in its own right. It was literally banger after banger. Once I walked out in each dress, she would walk away and give me the space to comfortably decide how I felt about a dress and discuss with my future in-laws, while being available for any questions. Every other place was seriously up my butt! I felt so pressured to make a decision at every store except this one. I had to try not to cry happy tears here, and held back nervous and overwhelmed tears at other places. This is the only place where I was able to express any true happy emotions, because I felt safe enough to do so!nnI’m writing this review to thank Amanda for being amazing, and to let other brides know that if you’re feeling pressured, GO HERE! Amanda is THE BEST!
