Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware - I’m exposing this shop publicly so that you don’t get cheated and taken advantage of with your hard-earned money like I did. I depend on my car for work use to support my family of 6 kids. I took my car in for a major repair that costs over $2,000 and exactly 1 year later the sane parts failed. When I took my car back the shop owner refused to do anything about it, nor tried to warranty anything. Is this the way a local business is supposed to treat a small town working man? It gets even worse with what I actually found out. The parts that failed weren’t even new parts that I paid so much money for, after getting several professional opinions from other automotive shops, including the one that actually fixed it right, I found out that the parts were no way only a year old as the bolts and components were completely rusted out and shown much more age with the condition they were in. Of course I went back to the owner and confronted him about it and he actually escorted me out of his place of business and went on in denial of the whole thing. And since I also found out that taking him to court would cost more than what I would get back in restitution, I’m going to let every Pendleton local know if The Shop’s deceitful ways so that you can trust someone else with your car. If your car is scheduled to go to the shop, do yourself a huge favor and go get it to take it somewhere else, and If you are already stuck with using the shop because they are already working on it, please inspect what you expect, because they don’t honor their warranties, if they actually have any.
