The Santiam Golf Club is excited to announce its’ new business relationship with Taste of Hawaii, a family owned and operated restaurant headed by Chef Norm Williams and his wife Francine. Replacing the Santiam Grill at the golf club, Taste of Hawaii opened for business January 3rd, 2020. The restaurant features foods from Hawaii, American fare and daily specials with a Hawaiian twist.
Francine will head the restaurant operation as Restaurant Manager while Chef Williams will be in the kitchen creating the menu and his delicious cuisine. Joining Norm in the kitchen will be his sons Brooks, Kalei and Norm the third (aka Boogie) as well as his daughter in law Jennifer.
Chef Williams’ culinary experience includes cooking positions at the Intercontinental Hotel in Maui, Valley Island Resort, Pino’s Italian Restaurant, Marion Forks Restaurant, Trexler Farm and Catering, Santiam Canyon School District and the Santiam Grill.
