5 Star Review By Jonathan Westmoreland
This is a lovely quiet little park in NE Bend. It is nestled in a nice neighborhood. The park is 75% surrounded by four to right foot tall fencing made from cedar or similar material. The other 25% borders Providence DR. This freshly paved road does not receive a high volume of traffic and the 25 mph speed limits give pedesteians plenty of time to see any vehicle heading their way. There is a childrens' play structure, monkey bars that include horizontal and vertical bars designed to provide a variety of exercises including g 4 pull up bars set at 2 heights, as well as, 2 sides of the structure have been fashioned into fire and poles. There is also a climbing wall, swings, and the rocking toys that sit atop heavy gaged coiled springs. For those older than the age of 12, the park has a paved basketball hoop area as well as handful of benches and tables. The only drawback that I see here is the lack of a true restroom to replace the portable toilet that is currently being used. I still love this park though.
