In this extremely competitive market where the vacancy rate in Bend is less than 1 per cent, it was nice to come across a property management office that did things differently than the others I was using. I think the demand for reasonably priced livable rentals has caused seekers, me included, to do a shotgun approach and apply for a property as soon as it comes up, sometimes having multiple applications under consideration at a time. Even using this approach, the highest I've ever been in line is #9 on the waiting list. Partners Property wants a REFUNDABLE deposit as well as your application fee if you want to be first in line. I think that weeds out allot of folks who have multiple applications out....and helps the serious well qualified prospective renter move up the waiting list. That's what happened to me. I had all their requirements done within 2 hours, and they stopped listing the property while they checked out my qualifications. The Partners' staff was very knowledgable, personal, friendly, and thorough. They did a "meet and greet" with my dog. I knew he would pass, but I also know that if the party who rents the other half of the duplex I will be in has a dog, it will not be aggressive either. The most amazing thing is that I was approved within 24 hours because they put their "noses to the grindstone" and did their jobs. Thank You Partners!

I called Central Oregon Rental Owners Association for help with a very complicated situation involving an eviction of a tenant. I talked to several people and they could not clearly answer my questions, due to the complicated nature of my situation, but referred me to Brandi Snow. I was not disappointed. She went way above and beyond what I would have expected. Over the course of several weeks, I talked to her probably 2 hours or more by phone. She got detailed and indepth information from me, comprehended the problems, and guided me to solutions. The information she gave me was helpful and accurate. She also directed me to a legal entity which could represent me in court, as I am out of state at the moment. The eviction was successful (what a relief). As a property owner and landlord, I would recommend Brandi unreservedly as very knowledgeable, experienced, professional, helpful and having an awesome attitude, to boot. I suspect the people who post negative comments about her were simply trying to pull their usual tenant manipulations; at which some tenants are adept and accustomed to getting away with, and which the system seems to encourage, but were stymied by someone who knows their stuff really well. I can’t buy the claims of fraud and dishonesty. I offered to pay Brandi twice and she declined to accept both times. I think that Brandi would be a fair, honest and considerate property manager, and would do everything a property manager should, but if you are intending to game the system, I suggest you find housing elsewhere.
