**BEFORE*** On a positive side, i'm giving two stars because the customer service while I was there was good. I was a walk-in and they were able to get my grandson in. I believe the barber that cut his hair was new to the shop. Again was very nice. The next day, my grandson got hair bumps. I put hot compress on it but it seemed to spread. I text the barber "T" and after a couple of days of getting no response, I called the shop directly and a guy suggested what to use. I wish I could pay the pictures. Finally end of the week T called me back and told me he cut my daughter's hair and already spoke to her. I told him he had the wrong person. This dude didn't even know who I was! My grandson is 10. He's been getting cut since 1 year old and had NEVER experienced this and he's been bald, bald fade, shadow fade, etc. T suggested I ask our previous barber what kind of clippers he used and that would help him understand. 🤔 I gave this man the benefit of the doubt because outside of all the razor bumps, it was a nice haircut. I text him last Saturday morning to ask his availability but never heard back from him. Again, my grandson got his hair cut every weekend where we moved from since he was one year old and we've never had a problem. Although I thought $35 was a lot for a child's haircut, I'm okay with it if it's a good job. This experience has been our WORSE. Not only did it take long to cut him but he got half head full of razor bumps and the barber was unresponsive and then had no clue who I was when he finally called back. Wth they do that at? On a nicer note, the other guys that cut hair did good jobs on their people. **UPDATE** I reached out to Oscar per his request. When I tell you, he is one of the most professional, genuine, humble, caring person I've met that runs a business! He offered to make the situation right and give my grandson a free haircut but because I was just so over what previously happened, I declined. However, after thinking about our conversation and how sincere he was in taking pride in his business, employing great barbers and taking care of the people, I felt I should try again. Oscar said he'd personally cut my grandson hair, but because I just popped up, he wasn't able to get him but he had one of his barbers (Daiver) cut it instead and when I tell you that young man did an immaculate job! Once again, every head that got cut in that entire shop looked good! Clean shop, great environment and fast service! I'm glad I decided to give his business another chance! I visit lots of places and I work in customer service, therefore, I leave reviews. I don't like leaving bad reviews but one can only get better, if it really matters. OG's Chop shop gets more than 5 stars from me and I suggest you give them a try! They definitely gained a loyal client over here! Thank you Oscar and the rest of your team!
