Had a great first time experience today at NLC. Pastor Kevin came with a HARD HITTING sermon that really spoke to me. I look forward to being back next week.
My only criticism and it’s more of a desperate request, but that is to reduce or remove the use of the fog machine on stage, as the fog can and often has Propylene Glycol or PPG in it, which is a known carcinogen and can cause reproductive issues for both men & women.
We will be back and I am thankful for finding this church this morning to worship and learn from God.
In town for a funeral and found this church by doing an online search. It was a refreshing experience. I was welcomed upon arriving. There was a nice selection of coffee, not that coffee is a requirement for church but it was a nice touch. It was a crowded 10 a.m. service and I was standing in the back. A woman approached me and asked if I would like to have help finding a seat. This was appreciated. I could tell the church was mindful of visitors. With Searcy being a University Town the 10 a.m. service skewed very young. I was overdressed in my dress shirt and tie that I had on for the funeral I was going to be attending. The message by Pastor Kevin was very good and was solid teaching. When I'm back in town I would visit this church again.
