My son is an autistic adult who needs a little extra help to expand his social life. Lone Star Ballroom provides the perfect settings. It is a fun place to learn how to dance without being judged. In addition to weekly group lessons and private lessons, every other Friday they offer a special which combines a group dance lesson and party. The instructors (Megan and Ann) are both amazing! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn dance.
For my Wife's birthday I decided to get us into dance lessons. I researched several studios around the D/FW area and ultimately decided to try Lone Star Ballroom. From the very first experience of asking about available packages and offerings I was not only very impressed, but I had a sense of having picked the right place. For a change, I got a birthday present dead on. Fast forward 8 months. We are doing weekly classes and as many of the group activities as we can. Every single interaction has been both entertaining and off the charts positive. We primarily take lessons from Megan, but have had several other instructors as well. They are all wonderful to be around, extremely knowledgeable and patient in the process. We are currently working on East Coast Swing, Progressive Two Step, Texas Two Step and the Waltz. We have had visibility and brief lessons on several other forms during the group sessions and parties. I honestly can't say enough good things about Lone Star Ballroom.
