4 Star Review By Tiffany Newton
We stayed over the MLK Jr. Weekend in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The staff was lovely and the resort was nice, but I do think it offers amenities and activities in the summer. As non-golfers, the winter activities did not play to our interests (e.g. horseback riding, biking, going, etc.). However, we enjoyed the breakfast at Cascada, the coffee bar was excellent, and the staff welcome and cute anniversary set up (bubbly, desserts, and rose petals) were kind and thoughtful touches. We enjoyed our room (nice bed, decent toiletries, great view, enjoyable balcony), the pool/spa was plenty warm for us even in cold weather, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. That said, it is a bit out of town (25 min) and there's not much around or to do if you don't golf. But it met our needs and I'd recommend it to others.
