I'm a sucker for nostalgia, and the site itself was a long ago haunt of my families, so right away I was curious. Brought under recommendation of my father, this place was amazing. Clean, well furnished and appropriately staffed. Uncomplicated menu, helpful direction from server for order options, prompt prep time. Picture perfect presentation, excellent cost/portion ratio and all the correct notes of flavor an authentic worthy fish taco from south of the border should have a long with some garnish that was well thought out. Ordered another round out of sheer gluttony.
I just drove by from out of town and decided to go in and give it a try. I am not a beer person at all and a wine drinker, but Paul the bartender let me try a few of his favorites as a sample and I liked the Berry Shotgun. I ordered one beer and the Steelhead fish tacos he recommended and it was delicious. I also ordered a side of nachos and pierogi's. The tacos and nachos were delicious, the pierogi's were overcooked and didn't taste like traditional pierogi's. If you like a loud bar with sports TV's and that Cheer's Show feel with lots of regulars, then this is the bar for you. The service and food was excellent, if I'm in the area again I'd definitely come back for the food and beer, the loud environment not so much.
