It’s HOT outside! Heat stroke is a medical emergency, here are some signs that can be caused by exposure to high heat or strenuous physical symptoms:

  1. body temperature 103′ F or higher
  2. hot, red, dry, or damp skin
  3. rapid strong pulse
  4. throbbing headache
  5. confusion, nausea, dizziness, fainting, strange behavior

If you suspect heat stroke:

  • Call 9-1-1
  • Stay with the person until emergency services arrive
