Back when I was employed, you had options of different posts that, for an unarmed security post, gave you varied experience. Example: Convention Center, Botanical Gardens, weddings, libraries, concerts, movie nights, etc., A typical day was reporting to your post (checking out the post orders - if you were new there) or meeting with your team, getting your equipment (a radio); then standing or walking your post. You learned something new (especially if you went from different post to post) every day. My experience with management was mostly Cinthia who (in my opinion) aside from being one of the most genuine and sweetest person you'll ever meet, is one of the best HRs I've ever came across. My supervisors (whose names I will remember after I post this) were young (younger than me, at least) but so freaking supportive!! My experience with the workplace culture (when not working alone) was very open and team oriented. The hardest part of the job again, for me, was saying no to job offers since I had a 40 hour main job (that paid more) and I could only work my days off - when I could. Also, some clients were kinda nasty towards us, which made me shake my head, and there was two posts (that I knew of) that you had to use your POV, which is something I didn't like due to auto insurance issues. While some pay was around average to what the market goes for, some posts were pretty safe (some would say 'boring') for unarmed and that (for me once more) evens out.

I've work with 3 different security agencies at my current job. Code 4 is by far the best of the 3. They are not perfect and every once and a while they send a bad guard but even at their worst they are leaps and bounds better than the previous 2 I've worked alongside. Good job Code 4! Keep up the hard work!
