I don't write many reviews, but after the wedding Coalesce Creations just did for my daughter I just had to share! From the beginning, I told Cocoa and Athena I wanted to be involved and she assured me that was going to be fine. I know it was my daughters choice and she had the last say, but it was reassuring to know my concerns would be heard if I had any. My daughter and my future Son-in-law both had their own ideas of how the wedding should be themed. I was amazed at how Athena created a design that both told their story AND somehow combined their two themes into one very beautiful and unified design. From the time we hired her, she took the time to communicate with them, hear their ideas and concerns, and was available for all those "last minute" questions. Her company stayed on top of all the details and the vendors she referred to us were amazing. From the make-up artist, DJ and photographer to the caterer and transportation company, Coalesce Creations ensured we got top notch service. There were, of course, things that didn't go as planned that were out of everyones control but Cocoa graciously stayed on top of those situations and the outcome was fabulous. The wedding and reception were both elegant and heart warming. The family that attended had a great time and were very impressed at the organization of the event and the gorgeous design that weaved through the ceremony to the reception. My daughter was over the top pleased with the way Coalesce Creations captured her ideas and turned them into a memory to be cherished for a long time. I highly recommend them and encourage anyone looking for a planning/design company to set a time to talk with them. I think you will be happy you did.
Phenomenal! That is the one word I could conjure up to describe my wedding experience with Athena and Coalesce Creations. In our very first consultation, we were both asked to describe our ideal wedding visuals/design theme in one or a few words. Him: Gotham City grandeur. Me: Wakanda, elegantly exotic. I knew right then and there that it would take a lot of creativity and active listening to merge our desired themes and ideas, especially within our budget.
OMG Athena definitely delivered!!! From the outdoor ceremony to the reception, custom details were everywhere that just screamed US! We are both still receiving calls and messages from guests commenting on how beautiful, classy, epic, and wonderful our wedding ceremony and reception were! I can’t wait to see the professional photos and video!
Not only were the designs a big hit, but also the service! Cocoa is an absolute rockstar! She and Athena have a great team of support coordinators too. They were a big help with the random things that didn’t go perfectly (misplaced items, broken jewelry, missing groomsmen, etc.). No matter what happened, they did a good job redirecting and keeping us on track throughout the day (not an easy feat considering we had 14 total bridesmaids and groomsmen).
We also used vendors that Athena recommended and I’m so glad we did! From my custom wedding dress designer, to the hair & makeup glam squad, to the photo/video team, to the DJ, to the cake designer and the caterers, ALL of them were top notch, professional, and accommodating to our special requests. My bridesmaids were especially ecstatic about how beautiful they looked and felt. Some of the vendors also shared past stories about the working relationship they had with Athena and had nothing but amazing things to say about her and Coalesce Creations.
At the end of the day, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding experience. Everything was amazing. Everyone had a good time. Every moment was just so beautiful. Everything was just PHENOMENAL!
