An amazing security company that puts the schools first. All of the officers are ex military or law enforcement, go through amazing training with the company, and go through psychiatric evaluations to ensure they are able to work around children. The officers I've worked with have all been kind and passionate human beings that I can tell genuinely care about the kids and staff they protect. I couldn't recommend BOSS High Level Protection more if you're looking for security at your school district.
PROS: I worked for this company for a very short time guarding a local private school. This was an amazing group of experienced military veteran workers who were very considerate - overall the leadership was great locally. They hold people to a high standard of conduct.
CONS: For the amount of experience its (upper) employers seek, the only criticism I have is that the company itself does not pay these veterans (Local management included) enough to foster an environment of longevity. Most of the experienced members were paid higher in the military and will find themselves in higher paying jobs in under a year. I recommend Helix/BOSS if you're transitioning out of the military or are a reservist and need something quick, but we made McDaddy bucks at best. This is a good opportunity to network, however and having an armed guard license for Denver particularly isn't a bad thing.
