Basil & Board

I love this relatively new addition to Salem. They use high quality ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. The indoor atmosphere is wonderful and I can’t wait to try the rooftop patio when the weather gets better and Covid restrictions aren’t in place. My only disappointment was in their salad, not in the flavor or quality but the price. I just can’t justify spending that much on a salad, even if it is good. If you’re a foodie, this place is a must visit. Grab a great pizza and a glass of wine. If you found my review helpful please like. 👍🏼

For the past few months my friends and I have been enjoying the takeout family dinners. The pasta casserole, garlic bread, salads and dressings are fresh, delicious, generous and well packaged. Even after feeding a group, there is always enough casserole and bread for another meal. I particularly appreciate the vegetarian/vegan options.

I have really enjoyed this place. The view from the rooftop bar is incredible and the restaurant itself is very cute. The group I was with booked the restaurant bar at one point and we got rained out. Basil and Board graciously helped accommodate us downstairs and out of the rain. Very professionalIt's the perfect place to bring your family and kids or a group of friends for lunch. I wouldn't reccomend a fancy date night as it tends to be a bit loud. The food options are great. If you don't want pizza they still have some fantastic options. Great place in Salem.
