I was living out of state when I started following Anne on TikTok — I really liked how she gave really clear information, since that’s my style of decision-making. I called her when I got to Portland and had an incredible experience working with her. She was as helpful as I’d hoped, providing me with clear information about the city and any home I was interested in. She was also incredibly encouraging and even in the negotiation stages (which aren’t always as fun), I always left a conversation feeling positive about our interaction. I think one of the things that is most impressive about Anne, is that she truly will not pressure you into a home This is the third home I’ve purchased, and if you know anything about the real estate market, it’s that many agents are into quick turnovers so they can make their percentage and move on. There were not many houses on the market when we were looking, and Anne was so clearly rooting for me to have a home that would be a great fit for me and encouraged me to wait if there wasn’t something currently on the market that I really wanted. I also felt very safe that I wouldn’t talk myself into too much of a fixer-upper (trust me I was willing to look at anything at that point) — for example, she pointed out with one home how extensive and structural the renovation would need to be. As a side note, I am immunocompromised and Anne took every measure she could to keep me safe and would advocate for me to be able to tour a home without having the other agent walk through it first unmasked. Bottom line, I would absolutely work with Anne again – she is professional and ethical (in a business that so often isn’t).
