Estimate

I brought my car down for an estimate for repair from an accident. Insurance company needed the quote and the shop told me they would not release the quote unit I left them my car to be fixed. Who in their right mind leaves their car to be fixed without finding out how much it will cost them especially since insurance was not covering everything. I was unsure of this auto place beforehand and now I will tell everyone I meet the bad business practice you follow.
